It looks like we are hiking into the sunset, but this is actually looking northeast, where the sky was the most colorful. The lights of Gorham, NH are starting to appear at the left, the peak of Mount Madison can be seen at right and the edge of a lenticular cloud hovering over Mount Adams is in the upper right corner.
